My name is Manisha, and I’m a piano teacher and performer based in Vancouver. I offer private piano lessons for children, teens, and adults; from complete beginners to advanced students. Whether you are just starting out or looking to deepen your skills, I’d be delighted to help you grow musically in a supportive, inspiring environment.

Teaching piano is not just my profession, it’s my passion. With nearly a decade of teaching experience and a background in performance, I’m here to help you or your child build confidence, develop solid technique, and express music with joy and personality.

My Approach

In my studio, I combine the technical foundation of the Russian piano school with the expressive traditions of European music. For students pursuing a structured path, I incorporate the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) curriculum and prepare students for exams, including levels up to ARCT.

Every student is unique, and lessons are tailored to fit each individual’s goals, learning style, and pace. My teaching balances structure and creativity, always with the goal of making piano study meaningful and enjoyable.

Achievements & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance

  • Recipient of the Margo Ehling Scholarship at Vancouver Community College for three consecutive years, awarded to the top pianist of the year

  • Successfully prepared students for RCM examinations, with many receiving high marks and honors

  • Nearly 10 years of teaching experience, working with students from age 6 to adults over 60

  • Piano Teacher at Prelude Piano Studios, TAOZ Piano Studio, and Richmond Music School (Faculty Member)

  • Former pianist and choir singer at West Vancouver United Church
